Banco di Caribe congratulates winner of the competition 'Read, Create and Win'

WILLEMSTAD: Banco di Caribe began the 'Ban Lesa i Krea' competition on November 14, 2023 to encourage reading amongst children and teens. The competition was part of the ‘Siman di Ban Lesa’- a full week dedicated to reading. After admiring all the artworks and paintings from participating youngsters, the competition reached its conclusion.

The participants showed off their bright imagination and expressed it with the use of different materials for their art pieces and drawings. The judges of 'Ban Lesa i Krea', Tito Ansano (Project Leader ‘Siman di Ban Lesa 2023'), Jenni Coffi Alberto (Writer), Dewi Maja (Art Teacher, Studio Tropicana), and Bagira Tizraoui (Renowned Painter and owner of The Gallery by Bagira), evaluated each creation to reach the final result.

The three excited winners visited Banco di Caribe Saliña branch on Friday, December 8, 2023 to hear the result and received their prizes. Ethan Godfried took first place and won an Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet, followed by Nataniel Francisca in second place who won a Tesorito youth savings account with an amount of ANG 200,-, and Queen- Alisja Poewasak in third place who also received a Tesorito youth savings account with an amount of ANG 100,-. Congratulations!

A heartfelt thank you goes to all participants, parents, teachers, and writers who contributed to 'Ban Lesa i Krea'. Banco di Caribe appreciates the judges for giving their time and attention to evaluate each creation. The main goal for 'Ban Lesa i Krea' was to inspire reading in a creative way. After seeing the children’s creations, Banco di Caribe is very happy that the competition has served its purpose and is hopeful that the children will continue reading and keep developing their artistic skills.
